My Review

It has been a while since I have loved a Benefit mascara. I had an obsession with Rollerlash years ago but it has been so long that I can’t actually remember what it was like! I should probably refresh my knowledge by reading my Benefit Rollerlash review!

Anyway, from the first time I tested the Benefit Fan Fest Mascara I knew it was going to be a personal hit. The brush has a very clever way of getting to each lash to really separate and define and deliver that promised fanned out effect.

I went in heavy with three coats as I was really liking how it builds. I think the result is really nice, I perhaps could have stopped at 2 coats but this would work really well for a night out.

It lasted well on my lashes. There was the tiniest bit of flaking where I had overapplied in a couple of places, but absolutely no smudging and the lashes stayed nice and lifted for the whole day.

It comes off really easily with regular makeup removal, and there’s no panda eyes situation the following morning.

All in all, it’s a fab mascara. I think my favourite thing about is the placement of the lashes. It gives a lovely wide-eyed look with minimal effort and it’s almost like it automatically places the lashes exactly where you want them.

It’s the one in my makeup bag right now. I’ll be wearing for a while, so will let you know if there are any updates.

If you are looking for a more affordable alternative, I am a major fan of Sky High. Check it out in my Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara Review.
